What To Expect on The Day!

When you visit either of our Ava Rose Hamilton boutiques, you can expect more than just a bridal appointment; you’ll step into a luxury experience designed to make you feel celebrated, understood, and inspired all for FREE From the moment you walk through the doors you’ll be welcomed into a warm, elegant boutique atmosphere where every detail is curated with brides in mind.

Each TWO HOUR private appointment is tailored just for you giving you the time and space to explore our thoughtfully selected collection of designer gowns with the guidance of your dedicated stylist. In the comfort of your private fitting room you’ll share meaningful moments with your loved ones as you discover the styles that truly reflect who you are.

Whether you’re drawn to timeless classics, modern silhouettes, or something truly one of a kind, Ava Rose Hamilton offers a diverse range of gowns to help you find the dress that feels like the one. Expect attentive service, genuine excitement, and a memorable journey toward finding the gown that will forever be part of your love story.

We do not charge for appointments, they are FREE of charge, however an appointment is required ahead of trying on gowns within the boutiques to ensure that we have the private suite available and a stylist on hand to guide you through this special part of your bridal journey!

  • Yes you do need an appointment to try on wedding dresses. We do NOT charge for appointments and they are FREE.

    Working by appointment only in the boutique offers a personal one to one luxury experience with a dedicated and highly trained stylist.

  • There is no set rule as to when you can buy your dress.  As long as there is enough time before your wedding for it to arrive, you can find your dress whenever you are ready.  Most brides tend to start looking around 18 months before their wedding.  It is best not to overload yourself with trying on hundreds of dress's, you will only end up confused.  Do your research and your bridal consultant will guide you through finding the perfect style!goes here

  • As a rough guide, the dress's take around 6 - 9 months to arrive.  Each designer is different but this is a good time scale to bear in mind, some designers can offer rush orders depending on the style and dates.  Some designers work specifically towards your wedding date. Once your dress has arrived in the boutique, it is thoroughly checked, and a letter is sent out to you with all the details of what to do next.  Your first appointment is to look at all the beautiful accessories such as veils and tiaras, most brides try to go to the hairdressers for a trial run first so you can come with a better idea of the overall look in your dress.

  • When you chose your dress, you are required to pay a 50% deposit.  The balance is due when the dress arrives in the boutique.

  • At Ava Rose Hamilton we can offer an interest free payment plan.  This can allow you to pay for your dress in instalments and chip away at the deposit and/or balance.  Your bridal consultant will tailor make a plan suitable for your needs, making it an easy and affordable way to pay for your dress. There will be no credit checks for using this service.

  • When it comes to the day you collect your dress, you will be provided with a breathable gown bag.

  • At Ava Rose Hamilton we are very lucky to have large private suites for you and your guests to enjoy your special moment of choosing your wedding dress with us.  However to ensure you and your guests are all sat comfortably and can enjoy your appointment we usually advise brides to bring 4 or 5 guest with you.

  • Once you have chosen your gown with us your bridal buddy will give you a list of recommended seamstresses. These seamstresses are highly trained in their field. You will contact them directly to arrange your fitting appointments with them in line with your wedding date. This is usually around 10-12 weeks before your wedding. They will then look after you until your wedding date.

  • We usually advise brides to wear underwear that your are comfortable in. We advise on nude seam free, no vpl underwear and if you wish a strapless bra. We have shoes in the boutique for you to try on however if you already have your wedding shoes or a comfy pair please feel free to bring them along with you to your appointment.

  • At Ava Rose Hamilton we have a beautiful collection of gowns from lots of the world leading designers and offer a large selection of gowns starting from £1,200 and going up to £6,000. Please be reassured that your trained personal stylist will be able to advise on the price ranges during your appointment.
